This is a idea i had for a while

Each week on one day and a time we choose we can make ``fun hours`` the main thing for this is to have fun maybe some other mods and maps
This event will be open for everyone.For starters play prop mod , or play some maps with meele only . I can look in to some fun maps also if u have any ideas im open for them post the mhere or contact me by steam

we've done this in the past, was every sunday for quite a while we had fun mods like 'roll the dice mod', and we once tried the prop mod once before on the #2 server if memory serves correct. That's the mod one team is tf2 props and the other is all pyros right? We'd only usaully run a mod like that on the #2 server as it completly changes the game...

I can't see any reason why we can't have some fun mods sometime 'if' enough people are interested. However if they were to be used on the #1 server they'd have to be things like roll the dice as they don't change the whole game too much, so people can still kinda play normally if they're not too bothered about the mod.

However as we've been here a lot before I shall leave it to Binksy to give the thumbs up/down.

I miss the roll the dice sundays on #1, but I noticed the server would always be emptier than usual.

Second server used to have Saturday Fun-Nights, when custom sector-pass, jump and melee maps would be played. More than 7 months ago, though. We could try reviving it. Alas, most of the time the server sits there with little to no action, so players would be missing nothing.

For a possible mod-replacement, it could be tried out with MIDAIR Mod on. To put it simply, the only class allowed is Rocketeer, having 50 HP and bearing unlimited-ammo-powered primary weapon (Rocket Launcher). The only way to damage enemies is by shooting them while they're in air (splash damage from walls works also). So it's kind of for practicing AirShots. Depending on the map selected the number of players may vary. Having too many players (+8), it simply becomes your usual spam-a-tard and gets really irritating trying to outmaneuver more than 3 rockets coming your way and also blasting off some other guy to smithereens.
As for my input, the best way to put this mod is make Arena-Duel fight style, when only two players are fighting while others spectate. When one Rocketeer wins he's pulled to the next round, and pitted against a random spectator. If the winner looses now, he's thrown into the spectator ring and another random guy is pulled in. If he doesn't, then he faces other enemies. The last man with most points wins the round/match. Generally speaking, same Duel type gameplay as can be witnessed in Quake 3/QuakeLive.

If you want to try it out before going into, there's an Italian server. Shouldn't cause problems for most Europeans (features small-custom maps only, download shouldn't take ages). The IP address is: 194.177.96.7:27018.
