Cheers Precizion, I seem to have forgotten the third dimension exists... Great tip.
Smudge, yeah, he's good for capping, but when your main is scout you probably want to do more thant that. I have a bad habit of not switching classes when needed, (COUGH I'm sort of good only at two of them COUGH) which means if the scout isn't overally useful on some map, I'm probably not going to pick him. Unless I'm a fool with suicidal tendencies. (Happens a lot.)
And to be honest, the only amazingly crap maps for scout (at least I think so) are Dustbowl/Goldrush, stage three. I can manage on 1 and 2 sometimes, usually on defense.
Well Arne, I must say that a new computer helped me a lot, but from personal experiences: It took me far longer to do good with scout than with most of the other classes. With three hours as a soldier I've already beaten my scout kill record... I think you can do quite well with others without knowing all of the intricacies and tricks (Not that they are cheap! Just more forgiving for the newcomers), but spy and scout usually take more experience to become rewarding. Just my humble opinion. |

| yeah i do feel ive got betther( from 1 hours to 4 hours xD) ive felt i could do alot more... (ive altso watched some how to play scout on youtube) it helped a bit. one thing ive learned is that when someone comes close to your base and attack and you get him on the run whit fire! thats where a scout should be ending! |

| Yeah, some videos on steam forums are quite nice, I recommend those to everyone! Useful at the beginning. |
