Well after last nights update we have a few new cvars for the servers some are for the bots which i have fixed on #2 possible get them on #3 to now ill try again when i have time so many more controls over them now but do they work ok on all maps ;/.
The other 2 main cvars we got are
Community Requests:
* Added "mp_forceautoteam", a server convar that forces all joining players to autoteam.
* Added "mp_stalemate_meleeonly", a server convar that allows melee weapons only during stalemates.
The force auto join is good in my book think it could be needed 1 day since even within our community we have players who occasionally stack "mentioning no names" thus causing the game to be unbalanced for few maps at times "can get boring" Then we also got admins cancelling team scrambles at times when they are usually needed and we got admins and regs and members that still don't swap around as much as you prob should to help the other team have fun when its really bad. This is obviously a cvar to help fix what I just mentioned .
For now I have only added it to the admin menu for all us bigger admins inc hesitator and timo we can hit this when ever we feel necessary at the start of a map will make you all auto join a team I don't think we will use it as a permanent thing as yet but remember its down to us all to make the teams better than have to use this cvar. lols
The other cvar "mp_stalemate_meleeonly"
Is set to 1 on #1 might make some of yah happy we try it out see if it works so sudden death should be mellee only hehe FUN TIMES.
But seriously depending how many servers use this force auto join and how our servers goes is depending if we use it or not I guess also depends on what other admins think to since its there job to make it a nicer place for you to play. |

stalemate is insta 1 in my book
autojoin can be frustrating tho..it can very well stack slate david and precizion to same team with no chance for them to change teams lol talk about balance  |

Sounds good binksy Definitely agree on that melee sudden death, it doesn't happen that often and usually the round leading to it has been frustrating, so it's a good way to lighten the mood.
That other one sounds fine like that too. I know I might switch it on if the situation warrants it, but better not keep it always on for now, yeah. |
Is bungle the same as juggle? |

Yeah hopefully the sudden death will go down well if not easy to put it back. The auto join should not be needed ever but is good thing its there have to try it 1 time see how it works. But its never really worked as its easy to just hit auto when the team "you wanna join" has 1 player less and you will be "or used to be" on that team. Also there is that fact it can make the teams bad at times as said above so its not that good of a thing was just being mean . It could be different and actually work or someone will make a plugin of it for SM that works much better usually. Have to see long run when we seen it a few time in action.
So far so good with the servers running ok ATM lets hope it holds up let me know if the mellee sudden death works  |

Everyone who uses autojoin should be taken out back and shot
The main server has actually been pretty good lately for balanced teams. Noticed quite a few now waiting a bit more before joining, to see which side needs them most. A few are even going spec first to see the actual classes on each before doing so, which is always a good thing. Sure, sometimes you do get a steamroll, but most the time that is due to things such as class selection or one team having a couple of random players who just can't keep up.
And speaking of steamrolls, any chance of fixing the scramble plugin Binksy? When it does scramble, it does a terrible job because it's not doing it based on score. I usually have to double scramble when one is really needed, because the only way to split teams fairly is by using the by score option in the admin menu. |

Yeah I only just yesterday recompiled that plugin also just looked at the system and it was indeed on the score per kill setting so changed it to 2 which is just by score not that it will actually work better as its still fairly random but it does make those that felt it necessary to scramble feel little better its taken place.
See how that goes m8  |

both of these cvars sound good to me
although autoteam isnt guaranteed to fix everything, and it could actually result in players who want to join teams fairly not being able to do so
and as we all know, on attack/defend maps, if the teams are already balanced in terms of player numbers (i.e 11 vs 11), if you use auto team select the game just puts the new player on blu, without considering scores
also means friends cant join the same team
+ melee on stalemates sounds good, no med healing though |

| Does mp_stalemate_meleeonly actually affect sudden death? I would imagine, from the name, that it allows melee weapons during humiliation time, but only during a stalemate, because no one can usually attack. |
